Audacity Training Outline

I originally created this back in 2008 when I was volunteering at a local hospital radio, as there where a few volunteers interested in learning how to use Audacity.

These notes correspond to and accompany the guide to using Audacity that I will be putting online tomorrow.

Before they came in for training, I would e-mail volunteers the outline along with the guide to using Audacity, and would encourage them to read them before they came in for training. Volunteers would be trained either individually or in small groups (i.e. 2 or 3 people). I would go through each item in the outline and explain and demonstrate the different features of Audacity.

Volunteers where encouraged to ask questions along the way, and would also be given an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

They would then be encouraged to come in when they had some time and play around with Audacity and its various features, to become more familier with the software.

I am happy for charities to use this outline free of charge for their own training. If you plan on using this within a commercial setting (i.e. any situation where payment would be received for training using this outline) or would like the document tailored for your company, e-mail simon@libraryplayer.co.uk to discuss pricing.
